The concept of civil society organizations

The human beings are sociable by the virtue of  his  existence who couldn't develop the  production  process only through the group and the growth of civilization .

The organizations of civil society are considered as an advance type from the forms of relationships arrangements between the members of society.

And the organizations  of civil society are included all  professional and humanitarian organizations .One of those are political which indicated the name of political  party  and some of them are professional which nominated unions and associations and the others are humanitarian organization which concerned with the affairs of human beings and securing their liberty.

In addition to what have stated above  these organizations  are participated  in constructing  and progressing the country  which are subjected  to the ministry which was prepared for this purpose within the new minstrel  formation under the name of ministry of state for the affairs of civil society.

Historical view for the organizations emergence

Internationally and its development in Iraq   

The emergence of public organizations particularly unions in Europe and U.S.A return to 19^th century .In the united state of America, the American union for labor was founded in 1881and in Britain ,the British labor party has been founded in 1906 and in Russia  the working class party founded in 1917.

Whether in Iraq the public and professional organizations have been founded after the revolution of 14^th July 1958 and the establishment of republican system in Iraq including different labor unions and other professional union  For ex. Teachers and doctors union .. ETC

As well as the emergence of other organizations for ex. women and student organizations  together with their student union and establishment of peasantry association and its general union.

During the former regime (1968-2000) the mass and professional organizations hadn't not witness any remarkable and effective  professional  activities.

While today's civil society organizations look forward to adopt new and democratic path to allow them practicing theirs various activities in atmosphere of freedom, justice, equality and human rights.

These organizations have been announced about their social and economic projects and they have been taken public offices and announced their slogans ,which reflecting the nature of the work for these organizations.
